Drying

It is a 4th day in a row when I am getting up early in the morning to glue a few layers of paper on top of my costume then leave it to dry. Then I am coming back to put more layers in the evening. It is still wet even after 10 hours so I have to glue paper more carefully (it collapses really easily). After I do not even know how many layers I finally removed the bamboo sticks :

Then I cut out the holes for my hands :

Many layers of paper mache and it is still not enough - my costume is not as hard as I expected it to be. That is why I decided to try a new mixture - water, flour, glue and instead of  paper I will use toilet paper. Afterwords I would have needed to paint my costume gray, but I already put some paints into my mixture:

On my costume it looks like that :

The mixture is heavy so it collapses a bit again, but afterwards when it is dry it becomes hard and I can fix these indentations. This process takes me much longer then I expected but I strongly believe that I will manage to finish it till Wednesday.
